Fostering social inclusion & physical activity in European schools through table soccer
Discover the projectTable Soccer at School (TSAS) is a Co-Funded European project that collaborates with schools to promote physical activity and sports integration, particularly in disadvantaged neighborhoods and challenging life circumstances. Our mission is to leverage table soccer as a means to overcome barriers and promote diversity and inclusion within the school environment, aligning with the European Commission's emphasis on sports as a tool for social inclusion.
This 18-month project aims to design and model a table soccer initiative at schools. The first phase involves identifying needs, conducting initial research, and drawing inspiration from other sport and social inclusion initiatives at the European level. During the pilot phase, which will be conducted in 12 schools selected by each partner country (France, Germany, Bulgaria, and Spain), table soccer material will be implemented, staff and teachers will receive training, and partners will supervise operations.
After the pilot phase, we will analyze the results to determine the benefits of table soccer for pupils and schools through a comprehensive quantitative and qualitative research evaluation process.
